
The Knicks lost in New York 100-86 against the Bucks on Friday. The win for the Bucks is just their first win away from home this season. Previously, they lost their last 8 games this season that were played away. The Knicks continue to struggle this season and continue to slide despite the big names they carry.
Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks in points with 35 and continues to get his each night for New York. Tyson Chandler led the team in rebounds with 12 in the ball game as well. The Knicks played well and shot good from the field in the first half scoring 51 points. In the 2nd half they only scored 35 points though. Th eability to not be able to play 4 full quarters is very concerning and must be fixed if the team will find success again. The Knick’s record moved to 6-9 on the season while their home record dropped to 3-5 on the year.
The Buck’s Brandon Jennings who scored 36 out scored Carmelo in the game. Jennings also led the team in assist with 5. The Bucks offense scored over 20 in each of the games 4 quarters and shot very well from the field. Drew Gooden Led the Bucks in rebounds with 11. The win moves the team to 5-9 this season and comes with great relief as they finally won a game away from home.
The Knicks will stay home and host the Nuggets Saturday while the Bucks get a well-deserved night off.
