Mark your calendar right now. The New York Giants have punched their ticket to the NFC Divisional Playoff game against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. This exciting game can be seen on TV at 4:30 ET next Sunday on Fox.
Eli Manning picked up his first playoff victory at home in MetLife Stadium today with the big win over the Atlanta Falcons that saw some big plays being made by him with touchdown strikes to Hakeem Nicks and Mario Manningham. Hakeem Nicks a.k.a 88 club as referred to by Deion Sanders had a very impressive game with a 72 yard TD sprint that showed what an impressive wide receiver he really is.

The running backs had a great game too and capitalized on the handoffs by Manning for some big gains at crucial points in the game. Manning, himself, had a pretty shaky start to the game and made an intentional grounding penalty while trying to avoid a sack in the end zone by Falcons safety James Sanders. However, it was pretty much all NY from then on.
Looking forward to the Green Bay game, I think Big Blue will have to work harder to stop what should be a very potent offense of the Packers. The Giants only had 2 sacks on Matt Ryan, despite the fact that they held them to just 2 points. The pressure applied by the defense on the quarterback will have to be amped up if the Giants are to come up big on Sunday.
Big Blue is healthy now and I look forward to what should be a very big offensive match-up and the Giants have their share of weapons with Mario Manningham, Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks all doing great today. Eli Manning is also pulling the trigger with confidence.
