New York Jets

With the resurgence of the Buffalo Bills this season, the New York Jets will have a harder time making the playoffs this year and it only makes things tougher now that they have lost to their bitter AFC East rivals, the New England Patriots this week. Still, the Jets are my favorite team and are definitely a treat to watch with the likes of LaDainian Tomlinson, Santonio Holmes, Antonio Cromartie and others.

The Jets have always known to be unpredictable and capable of making their games thrilling to watch. Last year’s AFC Championship game against the Steelers was definitely an exciting one albeit the fact that the Jets lost. However, a New York fan need not give up hope with the Jets 2-3 start since last season the Jets showed their resilience when only a month and a half after an embarrassing 45-3 loss to the Patriots on Monday Night Football, the Jets eliminated New England in their playoff encounter. The Jets Pro Bowl corner back, Darrelle Revis,  stating  that silencing the critics was the most satisfying thing apart from moving on to the AFC Championship game.

New York Giants

Although, the Giants lost to the Seattle Seahawks this week, they can take pleasure in the misery of the so called dream team Philadelphia Eagles. The NFC East standings have not turned out the way many experts would have projected so far. The Rex Grossman led Redskins are on top and have already handed the Giants a loss in Washington. This came as a shock as the Giants were expected to easily beat the Skins.

I guess fans of Big Blue and Gang Green can be miserable together this week.
